In comparison to my hand, hers is tiny, but quite often my daughters act as a scale for judging things much more important than size. There’re days, when I’m unhappy for one reason or another, but then I check myself – my children are healthy today, isn’t that more important in terms of measuring happiness and content?

You have captured the skin tones so swell, the textures are lifelike and the sense of scale is beautifully executed. By having her hand on yours you are emphasising the beauty of childhood too and on the scale of life, it’s such a short time line. Well done.
